 Tarpon Fishing Boca Grande 2011 has been great this year. My good friends/clients, Rob, Mark, Cliff, and Larry (from Wisconsin), came down to Tarpon fish with me for 3 days this year, we had a great 3 days. Cliff hooked and landed 3 Tarpon, 125lb, 145lb, and a 165lb-er on his very first Tarpon fishing experience. He said, "Tarpon Fishing Boca Grande 2011 was a trip I will never forget". Capt Lou said, "Don't expect that every year Cliff, expect better". Rob landed a 165lb Tarpon. Way to go Rob! Larry took care of his usual job, cheerleading and making sure the boys had a cold drink at all times.
Mark had a 185lb Tarpon to the boat and summed up our trip best in an e-mail he sent me when he got home, "Fishing in a beautiful place with great friends is good for the soul". (see pics in gallery)
We are fishing 4 days next year. I can't wait!
